At the recent Chicago Auto Show a 75th anniversary edition of the Chevrolet Suburban was unveiled. This Suburban Diamond Edition is the flashiest of all Suburbans, how that coincides with the secret services intention for using them as government vehicles to clandestinely trail terrorists, I have no idea, but this particular Suburban was not designed to assimilate into the crowd.
Kansas city used car dealers might be wheeling out a brand new special edition Suburban, diamonds and all. That’s right, the Suburban Diamond Edition features a white diamond paint job, a redesigned roof rack, special badging, and unique 20-inch chrome wheels.
Soccer moms no longer have to show up to practice in their boring Suburbans, they can now out flaunt the other mothers with their cashmere leather upholstery, “Diamond Edition” sill plates, and embroidered front headrests.
Throw in heated and cooled front seats, essential for being extravagant, GPS navigation, a rearview camera, adjustable pedals, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Kansas City new and used car dealers near you will likely be selling the Diamond Edition Suburban come this summer. Unfortunately production will be limited to 2,570 units, (350 for Canada and alternative markets) but limiting production is the only way to keep these Diamond Editions special and desirable. After all the whole point of owning a diamond embroidered car is because the person next to doesn’t own one.
Kansas City used car dealers love the fact that the Chevrolet Suburban has been one of General Motors’ most profitable cars and has a respectable resale value. This car is very popular and for good reason people have been relying on Suburbans dating back to the early 1930’s when the National Guard used the then station wagon Suburban as their mode of transportation.
Although there might be a monopolization of soccer moms driving this sweet ride let’s not forget that the Suburban has some serious towing capacity, some can even lug around close to 10,000 lbs, which will attract its fare share of flamboyant carpenters.
Look forward to your local Kansas City used car dealerships to be housing the 75th anniversary Chevrolet Suburban Diamond Edition. When you catch a glimpse on this vehicle’s interior and exterior you’ll find it hard not to compare it to a piece of well crafted art.
