Chevrolet Aveo Makes City Driving a More Pleasant Experience

If you’ve ever driven in more populated city, such as Kansas City, you know how stressful driving can be.  Between traffic, lack of parking at times, and pedestrians trying to cross at every corner, a day of city driving can leave you feeling stressed and tired.  Lucky for you city drivers there are a few cars out there than can help make this a more survivable venture.  One of these is sold at your Kansas City used Chevrolet dealership.  We’re talking about the Chevrolet Aveo.

There are many features to this compact car that make it a choice that residents in and near Kansas City should check out.  To be specific, it’s the 2009 Aveo Hatchback that was noted for being a great city choice, but any of the Aveo models would be solid choices.  The hatchback is designed to fit four people, while also leaving plenty of cargo space.  A good excuse to carpool to work with your city friends.  It also gets 27 mpg in stop and go traffic, which is great news, since city driving gives you plenty of that, like it or not!

Also, the trunk door style of the hatchback is designed to better incorporate those everyday errands you need to run, coupled with the stroller, diaper bag, bicycle, etc that might need to accompany you on these trips.  Versus the Aveo sedan, getting these items in and out of your Aveo hatchback is much easier with the handy hatch door.  Furthermore, its design makes it easy to keep up with city traffic, including taxi drivers that we all know drive a bit too crazy at times!

If you like the Aveo, check out the newest models for the 2011 car year at one of your local Kansas City used car dealers: McCarthy Chevrolet.  They have some in stock such as the LS and LT models.  Each are offered at a affordable price ranging from $12,830 to $16,145, depending which features you opt for.  Don’t be fooled by thinking that a lower price equals fewer features.  The Aveo has a modern interior, voice activated phone system, and a bucket driver seat that can adjusted to make the driver as comfortable as can be.  These are just a few amenities that come with the base model.

Pricing announced for the Chevy Volt

The thing that helps the public in purchasing something that has so many options, such as a car, is price. The Chevy Volt has just been added to that list. Some consumers have seen the car, wondering if it would ever show up on the streets that we drive, and never thought about it again. Until now. GM will claim back some ground with the impressive Chevy Cruze

As production and distribution of the Chevy Cobalt comes to a halt, the new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze moves into the spotlight.  The Cruze is the all-new front-drive, five-passenger compact sedan that is somewhere between the Aveo and the Malibu, but definitely more car than the Cobalt has been during its run in that spot in the lineup. Chevy’s concept communter car has some potential

Chevy’s concept communter car has some potential

The EN-V concept by GM is a car with a major touch of the “future” added to it!  You see a picture of one and think, could I really picture this cruising down a busy urban street?  Not sure, maybe someday?

The EN-V, which stands for Electric Networked-Vehicle, was developed as a result of a partnership with Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp., which is based in China.  The concept displays 3 different, but very cool looking designs:  Jiao (Pride), Miao (Magic) and Xiao (Laugh).  Perhaps one will be available for a test drive at your Kansas City used car dealer one day?!?

Recently patented Chevrolet drawings may give sedans a new look

The official drawings of an unnamed Chevrolet sedan were filed with the U.S. patent office by General Motors. Taking a look at the drawings, it appears the mystery Chevrolet four-door saloon with the Camaro-inspired rear-end design is either a mid- or full-size sedan. It is known that General Motors is readying a redesign for its Camry-fighting Chevrolet Malibu, but it appears this is depicting a whole different vehicle – one that gives the sedan a new look. There is some speculation that the design could be a replacement for the Impala or for the European market and Daewoo-based Chevy Epica sedan. Stay tuned as we learn more, and in the meantime, be sure to check out your Kansas City used Chevrolet dealer for current and used Chevrolet models. Continue Reading…
