Not only are us Chevy enthusiasts anxiously awaiting the arrival of the super-powered, electric Chevy Volt, but now we can get hyped for the stateside debut of the 2011 Chevy Cruze.
The Cruze, which reportedly is the new replacement for the current Cobalt, is said to be quite the competitor for the well- established Toyota Corolla. This 2011 standard-size sedan can come packaged with either a turbocharged 1.4L, 4-cylinder engine, producing 138 hp and 148 lb/ft of torque, or a naturally aspirated 1.8L power source. With the naturally aspirated engine, it’s guaranteed the Cruze will have incredible fuel economy and performance, but with the turbocharged engine, the Cruze is still estimated to achieve an average of 40 mpg which tops most cars in its category.
